Hedge fund manager Tepper says stocks could drop 5% to 20% if China trade war worsens

Hedge-fund titan David Tepper spoke with CNBC's "Halftime Report" on Thursday.

Tepper founded Appaloosa Management in 1993 and is known for making big calls on the market. Tepper told CNBC in January the bull market had more room to run, citing lower taxes and favorable stock valuations.
